The Campus NUTRIOPEDIA children's learning tower allows you to enjoy family time in the kitchen. However, it is essential that the following principles be respected at all times to ensure the safety of the step stool:
The child must be able to stand on his own and be solid on his two legs. For some children, this will be at 11 months; for others, 16 months. It's up to you to decide what's right for your child!
Never leave your child unattended in the learning tower. Always stay within reach of your child.
Make sure the learning tower is leaning against a solid, vertical surface (kitchen island, kitchen or bathroom counter, etc.) before the child climbs on it.
Make sure the step stool is placed on a level, solid floor. Never place it on an uneven floor.
Never allow a child to climb the step ladder until it is securely backed up to a safe surface and positioned on a level floor.
Make sure that the work surface that the child can reach once he/she has climbed up the ladder is completely safe and free of sharp objects, heat sources, toxic products, medication or any other dangerous element.
As soon as the child has climbed into the learning tower, the removable gate must be immediately replaced in the slots and the retaining finger must be slid over the gate. The gate and finger restraint must remain in place throughout the use of the learning tower.
Only one child at a time may climb the learning tower.
After several weeks of daily use, it is possible that the screws on the the learning tower may loosen slightly. Take the time to tighten them with the allen key.
Take this opportunity to re-evaluate the height of the landing and the step. Check if it is still safe for your child by making sure that his belly button is facing the belly board.
